Professional Appraisals
I would like to introduce you to Associated Equine Appraisers, and advise you concerning our capabilities in aiding and assisting you with legal matters involving horses. We are each certified, accredited members of the American Society of Equine Appraisers.
We have successfully completed the training course offered by the American Society of Agricultural Appraisers.
This training covered: methods for establishing value, market research and analysis, appraisal report writing, and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
These are part of the new Minimum Qualification Criteria for Personal Property Appraisers developed by the Appraisal Qualifications Board and adopted by the Appraisal Foundation in Washington, D.
Types of Appraisals
We appraise horses for a wide variety of reasons: injuries, divorces, loans, insurance claims, taxes, bankruptcies, purchasing and selling of horses, establishing or dissolving business partnerships, veterinarian malpractice, financial disputes, and other types of litigation where horses are involved.
Experienced In The Horse Industry
As independent, certified appraisers, with more than 45 years of experience in the horse industry, with a variety of breeds and riding disciplines, we are in the best position to offer you an honest, accurate and unbiased opinion of value on horses.
We have the ability to both develop and write appraisals that meet the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
These are the same Standards that licensed real estate appraisers use. As certified professional appraisers, we are able to provide you with appraisals based on both the established, and professional methods and standards used throughout the appraisal industry.
When you find that you have the need for a professional appraisal of value for a horse, choose and appraiser with the experience and training that you can rely on.
You will receive a written appraisal report based on the standard practices for the type of report required.
While most appraisals are done in the local area, we are available to travel if necessary.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
